TRAVEL: From Worcester city centre follow signs for the Cricket Ground. Go west along New Road past the Cricket Ground and straight across the traffic-light controlled “roundabout”. Continue up the hill between LloydsTSB and the tower block flats. The Church of St. John-in-Bedwardine at the top of the hill lies in the centre of the historic village of St. Johns.

PARKING: Free parking is available at the church during church events. Free short-stay parking (up to 2 hours) is available at the nearby Sainsbury’s supermarket.

PUBLIC TRANSPORT: From the Worcester Bus Station, bus routes 30 and 31 serve St. Johns.

Open The church is open all day Monday to Saturday and closes after 5 p.m. Evening Prayer.
OUTSIDE: Of special interest. West sandstone tower, of 8 bells, built in 1481. The church has a large churchyard to the south which is carpeted with daffodils in spring.
