The short circular walks described on this CD are easy, they have been designed with
families in mind. Each walk starts at a church where there is space to park your car. Inside
the church is a Stories from the Stones Listening Post, switch it on to unlock the story of the
church and its parish over the centuries. Then let narrator Rob Swinton guide you around
the parish on a heritage walk. His concise instructions can be paused at any time allowing
you to proceed at your own pace. Walking instructions lead to Heritage Information Points
where there is something special to see or think about. Discover more about the humps and
bumps in the landscape, find out about farming and the rural economy past and present,
discover more about all those recycled buildings that pepper the countryside today.
Enjoy beautiful countryside but remember the Country Code, close all gates and keep dogs on a
lead and under close control.
