This is real border country - the River runs along the border between Worcestershire and Herefordshire, Worcestershire and Shropshire, Herefordshire and Shropshire, Shropshire and Powys, Engand and Wales.

It is an area of scattered hamlets, some down by the river at its crossing places, others high above the steeply wooded valley sides. We have asked each of the communities along the route to contribute to these pages and to introduce you to some of the highlights of their local area.
